Upon successful completion of the course, students are able to effectively manage the research process. They can critically evaluate, synthesize and cite scientific literature to support arguments and conclusions. Furthermore, students are proficient in communicating scientific findings through well-structured writing, clear data visualization and engaging presentations.

Upon completing the course, students will possess the following skills. They are able to
- recognize the structure of different types of scientific publications, enabling them to read effectively (k2);
- conduct comprehensive literature reviews, applying advanced search strategies and critically assessing sources (k4);
- develop research questions and hypotheses, integrating knowledge from various scientific domains (k4);
- manage and accurately document research data (k3);
- create insightful data visualizations to support their analyses and enhance the clarity of their findings (k5);
- communicate scientific findings and articulate complex ideas clearly, both in writing and oral presentations (k5/k6).

During the course, students will acquire and practice the following general scientific skills:
- literature search strategies;
- effective and critical reading;
- citation and plagiarism prevention;
- artificial intelligence tools for literature management;
- developing research goals and hypotheses;

Criteria for evaluation |
Throughout the course, students will work on four assignments, each covering different aspects of the course. The final grade will be the combined result of these assignments.
