More specifically, upon completion of the course they will be able to - understand, explain and review the specific needs and requirements of industrially applied organic chemistry (k2, k3, k4, k5) - understand, explain and review the material flows of raw materials, intermediates and products of industrially organic chemistry on selected examples (refinery, colors, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, …) (k2, k3, k4, k5) Underlying concepts and details of - refinery and refinery products - glues and specialty binder polymers - lacquers and paints - colors - agro-chemicals (pesticides, herbicides) - pharmaceuticals
