(*)The students know and understand (k1 & k2) the concept of membranes separations, fluidized beds, cyclones, agglomeration, crystallization, column hydrodynamics, reactive extraction and chemisorption. The students have a basic understanding of advanced measurement techniques for process engineering optimizations. They can apply the mass balance, component balance and energy balance (k3). The students can analyze complex systems (e.g. column hydrodynamics) and solve them (k4). Also, the students understand the interactions with overlapping reactions and can identify the required actions (k5).
