| Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to

• conduct Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analyses to assess risk. (k3, k4)
• understand the basic procedures for enforcing intellectual property rights. (k2)
• determine who holds entitlement to these rights and whether/how compensation should be granted. (k4)
Furthermore, practical workshops will enhance students’ ability to independently tackle real-world cases and help them avoid common strategic errors, illustrated through real, concrete examples. (k3)
