Upon completing the course, students learn the following skills. They are able to
- understand and critically evaluate English-language scientific literature (k4/k5);
- plan and prepare a presentation in English (k6);
- clearly communicate their topic using modern presentation techniques (k5/k6);
- actively participate in scientific discussions following their own presentation (and the presentations of other students) (k4/k5).

Students acquire knowledge of current research topics and methods in the field of light-matter interactions. Students choose a topic from a range of suggestions in consultation with the seminar instructors.
