Competences
Students work on a specific project in the frame of their bachelor thesis. Students enrol for the course UCH/656 usually in the semester in which they will defend their thesis. The course is credited if the student submits an assignment for a bachelor thesis and the supervisor is satisfied with the submitted bachelor thesis.
Skills Knowledge
Students learn new and prospective biological, chemical, and biochemical methods and techniques of laboratory work (k1, k2) and apply them both in their further studies and their bachelor's thesis (k3). Students discuss their results with their supervisors, analyze and evaluate the results (k4, k5) and can propose additional experiments needed for finishing their theses (k6). Work in the supervisor's laboratory, literature is provided by the supervisor.
