• Calculate the thermodynamic processes and assess their use in chemical and industrial applications
• Basic understanding of quantum mechanics and simple calculations of energetic levels
• Understanding the chemical statistical mechanics and the application of Boltzmann kinetic theory
• Understanding the chemical reaction kinetics

• Ideal gas and van-der-Waals equation as well as gas kinetics
• In-depth thermodynamics and application on chemical reactions
• Fundamentals of statistical thermodynamics
• Fundamentals of quantum mechanics
• Basics of chemical reaction kinetics
