Kompetenzen
(*)Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to apply fundamental concepts from the course “Physics 2 for Biological Chemistry” to solve problems in electromagnetism. They will develop problem-solving skills, improve their analytical thinking, and practice structuring their solutions clearly.
Fertigkeiten Kenntnisse
(*)By attending this course, students will acquire the following skills: • Understand key concepts from electromagnetism (k2) • Apply theoretical knowledge to solve physics problems independently (k3) • Analyze problem statements, identify relevant principles, and structure solutions (k4) • Evaluate and verify problem solutions by discussing results with peers and the teacher (k5) • Present problem solutions clearly on the board and respond to related questions (k5, k6) (*)Students will gain a deeper understanding of electromagnetism by applying theoretical concepts to practical problem-solving. They will strengthen their ability to approach and solve physics problems systematically and effectively. A good working knowledge of high school mathematics, including algebra, fractions, vector algebra, derivatives, and integrals, is required.
Beurteilungskriterien (*)50 % solved problems, and 1 correct presentation (including answers of related questions) of a solved problem on the board
Lehrmethoden (*)The exercise gives the students the opportunity to independently solve problems on the board and to discuss the results with the group.
