Competences
Students are able to design concepts for the legally compliant use of data by companies, the state, etc., using the knowledge they have acquired of the legal basis for data use.
Skills Knowledge
  • know and apply the legal basis for the use of data by companies, the state and other (selected) actors (k1, k3)
  • analyze specific case studies and subsume them under relevant standards from the field of data protection law - especially in connection with data use - and explain any sanctions (k3, k4)
  • develop concepts for the legally compliant use of data - if necessary in cooperation with representatives of other disciplines (k5, k6)
  • responsibility under data protection law

  • data protection by design (basics and selected examples)
