Students are able to recognize and independently solve complex questions and cases relating to intellectual property law with regard to new technologies.

Skills	Knowledge
analyze specific case studies and subsume facts under norms from the field of intellectual property law (k3, k4) solve practical cases with regard to new technologies and the protection of innovations as well as with regard to the civil law principles of e-commerce (k3, k4) develop and assess strategies for enforcing rights (k5, k6)	intellectual property law (copyright, patent, trademark, design law) selected civil law aspects of e-commerce (e.g. mobile commerce) conclusion of contracts on the web, taking into account European legal requirements and current legal developments
