Competences
Students will be able to identify the legal challenges of digital platforms, digitalization and administration, assess the relevant legal framework and develop legal arguments and solutions.
Skills Knowledge
  • explain and understand European and national legal frameworks for online platforms and the system of digital governance law (k2)
  • analyze and assess legal problems in the area of digitalization and digital platforms and their management (k4, k5)
  • develop and evaluate strategies for solving challenges based on specific case studies (k5, k6)
  • European and national legal framework conditions for online platforms, in particular requirements regarding content moderation, liability for infringing content, transparency obligations and the handling of data
  • functions and system of digital administration law
  • selected areas of digital administration law (e.g. E-Government Act)
  • development prospects in factual and legal terms (e.g. no-stop management, automation, digital assistance systems)
