Learning Outcomes

The students have a basic understanding of data flow and data sources in controlling and are prepared for communication with IT and financial accounting in practice. They are able to orient themselves relatively quickly in controlling software in practice and to critically question and help shape processes of information provision in controlling.

    • The students have understood the data flow and data sources relevant for reporting and planning
    • The students are able to explain and present various areas and topics of digitalization
  • LO3 & LO6:
    • The students are able to create and design reports and simple plans using the controlling software used in the course.
  • LO4 and LO5:
    • The students are able to present and analyze these results, i.e. recognize and interpret relationships and relevant factors.
  • LO4 & LO6:
    • The students are able to discuss the information supply process in controlling (LO4) and roughly model the introduction process for controlling software (LO6).
Learning Outcomes

Terms and areas of application of current areas of digitalization, use of MS Excel for the creation of a controlling report, knowledge of the structure of an ERP system with a special focus on the associated controlling module, orientation in an ERP system and application of essential functions of an associated controlling module.

  • 51%: written exam (test)
