Competences
Students develop an understanding of international trade regulations and their impact on EU customs and foreign trade policies. Students are able to analyze legal texts and regulations in the field of customs and foreign trade law and understand their practical application.
Skills Knowledge
  • Presentation and reproduction of the relevant legal bases of world trade law and EU customs and foreign trade law, including theories (k2, k3)
  • Ability to systematically interpret and analyze customs regulations and relevant legal provisions. Intention and application of these regulations in the context of international trade law (k2, k3)
  • Basics of customs law: Sound knowledge of the basics of customs law, including the most important international agreements and national regulations
  • Foreign trade laws: Students know the central laws and regulations in foreign trade law and understand their application in the international trade context
  • Procedural principles in foreign trade law

Methods (*)Die Lehrinhalte werden den Studierenden in Vortragsform vermittelt. Es ist im Rahmen der Lehrveranstaltung eine Exkursion zu einem Unternehmen geplant.
