Students critically evaluate and discuss current research publications, deriving relevant content and methodological approaches to enhance their own dissertation projects. They can independently assess the quality and implications of recent scientific literature and use this knowledge to inform and refine their research.

Criteria for evaluation Attendance of 80% is mandatory. Assessment is continuous. In order to pass the "LC conference", students must provide proof of participation and a poster or oral presentation at an internationally recognised conference to the office of the Doctoral School. Attendance has to take place during doctoral studies. The positive result shall be described as "successful participation", the negative result shall be described as "unsuccessful participation".

Further information This course has to be completed four times. Students can only attend the "LC conference" once. Students will be registered for this course directly by the Doctoral School office after submission of the required documents.
