Students present their dissertation projects in detail, articulating the research objectives, questions, methodology, and resources required. They integrate feedback and objections to refine their dissertation concept, ensuring clarity and precision in their research design.

  • Presenting the dissertation project.
  • Identifying the resources needed, including financial, material, and research facilities as well as applications for Ethics Committee approval when necessary.
  • Collaborating with the Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC) and incorporating their feedback.
  • Refining the dissertation project based on peer and committee feedback.
  • Dissertation project structure and presentation.
  • Methodology and project timeline.
  • Roles and responsibilities of the Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC).
  • Approaches for integrating feedback and refining research proposals.
Criteria for evaluation Attendance of 80% is mandatory. The confirmation of an initial proposal meeting with the Thesis Advisory Committee (TAC) has to be submitted. Oral presentation of the dissertation project. Submission of the written dissertation concept, including the integration of the oral feedback to the presentation. For a positive completion, the written dissertation concept has to be submitted to the examination board according to § 6 of the Curriculum. The positive result shall be described as "successful participation", the negative result shall be described as "unsuccessful participation".
