  • The students have a fundamental understanding of multi-channel immunofluorescence labelling of cells (isolated or in tissue context) and how to plan and design such experiments.
  • They will know how to perform immunofluorescence staining on biological samples and receive practical training in confocal microscopy.

Criteria for evaluation Attendance of at least 75 %. Active participation: The course is run as a full lab rotation with bench work, hands-on microscopy, data acquisition and analysis, and presentation and discussion of the results.
