Learning Outcomes |
Competences |
Students understand induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), their reprogramming, and their applications in regenerative medicine. They can differentiate iPSCs into neural stem cells and identify neuronal morphologies using advanced imaging and molecular techniques. Additionally, they can design experiments, manage time effectively, and analyze data critically.

Skills |
Knowledge |
- Perform essential stem cell culture techniques, including thawing, passaging, freezing, and cell counting.
- Characterize cell lines through phase contrast imaging, immunofluorescence (IF), and quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR).
- Differentiate iPSCs into neural stem cells
- Analyze cell morphology using microscopy and imaging tools.
