Ziele (*)This course explores the foundational principles of cooperation, particularly within the context of multi-agent systems and reinforcement learning (RL). Students will learn about theoretical frameworks, algorithms, and practical applications that enable cooperative behavior among agents in various environments. The course combines lectures, hands-on projects, and research discussions.
Lehrinhalte (*)The lecture is structured into 5 thematic areas which will be presented in classroom style teaching. Students will deepen their understanding and will get hands on experience in the practical part which consists of questions and exercises to be elaborated by the students.

Beurteilungskriterien (*)- Assignments: 40% - Final Project: 50% - Participation and Discussions: 10%
Lehrmethoden (*)Students will work in teams (of 2-3) to design, implement, and evaluate a multi-agent system demonstrating cooperative behavior. Projects will be presented during the last week of the course.
