Students acquire in-depth knowledge about theoretical approaches and central empirical insights to analyse and evaluate historical and contemporary transformations of (different forms of) work and society. The emphasis of the Sociological focus will be put on transformations of work in the context of changes of economic systems and life worlds. Students will be able to work with knowledge from different fields of sociology to analyse a specific problem of these fields and to write a seminar paper.
