Objectives
Students acquire advanced knowledge of test theory, scaling procedures and psychological test models. They are able to explain the basic principles and objectives of the procedures, assess their correct application in specific situations and evaluate the findings obtained with regard to their validity and limitations. They have in-depth knowledge of quality standards of diagnostic procedures, taking into account current challenges in practice. They are familiar with quality guidelines in the diagnostic process and in relevant fields of practice and can assess the fulfillment of standards in practice. Students are informed about the legal and ethical framework conditions in the field of diagnostics and intervention.
