Objectives
Students acquire in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of selected methods of univariate and multivariate statistics. They can explain the basic principle of the methods, are informed about their assumptions and can assess their correct application possibilities for specific situations. Additionally, students take part in exercises where they learn to apply the discussed methods to empirical data using modern statistical software, to interpret the findings and to recognize limitations in possible conclusions.
