Objectives |
Overall the objectives of this seminar are experiencing, understanding and reflecting dynamics on leadership and develop theory-based competencies in self-development and leadership.
Upon successful completion of the course students will
- LO1: be able to identify, summarize and assess different leadership challenges and reflect upon their dynamics.
- LO2: possess advanced knowledge about different state-of-the-art leadership concepts, are able to critically evaluate them based on their practical relevance and applicability.
- LO3: develop leadership skills against the background of their own leader identity.
|
Subject |
Leading organizations in an innovative direction is a challenging task. In this seminar, students will reflect on the classical and often implicit understanding of leadership, develop a more comprehensive and accurate understanding of leadership as a process and understand their own role as leaders in this regard. They will be provided with theoretical concepts; but most importantly they will be given room for experience, discussion, feedback and self-reflection for their personal development as (future) leaders.
