Objectives |
This course is designed for students who have just started to learn Chinese. Students will learn pinyin-Chinese phonetics system, tones, basic Chinese characters and radicals. By the end of course the students will understand and speak about 191 vocabulary words and be able to read and write 213 characters, master 60 basic sentences in the real life conversation.s well as actively participate in class.

- Oral/listening Test: 30%
- Mid-term Test: 20%
- Final Exam: 30%
