Objectives |
This course will provide the student with a solid overview of key concepts in international finance. The course objectives are to:
- understand key international finance concepts including foreign exchange, multi-national firm considerations, cross-border financing and investing.
- be able to understand and explain these concepts and perform related calculations and analyses correctly.
- enhance both oral and written communication skills.
Detailed learning objectives will be posted during the course to assist students with a clear understanding of knowledge and skills required to successfully complete the course.

- Contribution and participation (10%) - Midterm exam (30%) - Final exam (60%)

Students with unexcused absences from more than 2 (two) class sessions will not be permitted to write the final examination.

Methods |
The course will use a combination of readings and cases to develop and apply course concepts. Extensive preparation and understanding of the pre-assigned cases is expected.
