Students know core theories and research methods in a variety of fields in modern economics. They understand how, when, and why to apply these theories and methods to new questions from the respective field of study.
The subject builds on the introductory courses from the subject Fundamentals of Economics (Grundlagen der Volkswirtschaftslehre) and selected specialization fields in the Bachelor’s degree program Economics and Management (Wirtschaftswissenschaften 2020W) and deepens the theoretical and empirical knowledge and capabilities attained.
