| Ziele |
(*)Artificial intelligence is expected to significantly change society in the near future. The course addresses the relevance of Artificial Intelligence in society and current debates on this topic. Ideas about Artificial intelligence vary greatly. Also the expectations in which way Artificial Intelligence could or should influence society differ significantly. The course looks at the political dimension of Artificial Intelligence and its development, the dynamics of its development, its meaning and relevance in modern societies and at ideas of ways to govern the development and use of AI. In part, the course is based on project groups, which work on specific empirical cases of Artificial Intelligence in society in order to relate theoretical perspectives to current phenomena.
