Original study plan |
Bachelor's programme Business Administration 2023W |
Objectives |
After completing the course “Grundkurs Public und Nonprofit Management”, the students are familiar with the special features of institutions in the public (state) and private nonprofit sector. They recognize (at least as an example) what effects these special features have on the management in these organizations, in particular in which areas management knowledge can be taken over from the business sector and which adaptations may be necessary.
In addition, they acquire knowledge in those management areas that are not relevant for profit-oriented institutions. Finally, they become aware of possible cooperation between institutions in the market, state and non-profit sectors and know why and how services in the public interest are created in the institutional network.
