Objectives
Knowledge and competences acquired in the introductory courses on social and societal policy is reinforced and expanded. Students acquire the ability to understand the interrelationships of the economy, society and politics as well as the function of social security systems in greater detail and to reflect critically on them. They are able to apply the knowledge acquired here to current problems in economic and social policy.

(*)Das Fach untergliedert sich in das Fach Politikwissenschaft und Sozialpolitik: Aufgaben und Perspektiven (6 ECTS) und in das Fach Politikwissenschaft und Sozialpolitik: Ausgewählte Themen und Anwendungsfelder (6 ECTS).
