  • critically discuss the methods and/or assumptions of research papers.
  • differentiate between various economic theories and empirical methods and recognize their advantages and disadvantages.
  • discuss the economic and/or socio-political implications of the papers.
  • derive policy recommendations from research papers.
  • critically evaluate economic arguments, analyze opinions, and draw well-founded conclusions.
