Detailed information |
Original study plan |
Master's programme Physics 2023W |
Objectives |
You will learn the principle and practical techniques to analyze the physical and chemical properties of surfaces and thin films with spatial resolution down to atomic scale.
|
Subject |
The lecture introduces the effects and the mechanisms of: 1) electron-surface interactions 2) photon-surface interactions 3) atom/molecule-surface interactions 4) ion-surface interactions in conjunction with their application in analysis of surface and thin films.
|
Criteria for evaluation |
Presentation on the selected topics related to lecture or oral exam (dates by arrangement).
