Objectives
Instructive and practically relevant exercises to familiarize the students with the concepts and the most important experimental and theoretical techniques in surface science.
Subject
As in the course, the exercises cover the following topics: 1) Electronic properties of surfaces, 2) Dynamical properties (phonons and adsorbate-vibrations), 3) Thermodynamics of surfaces and thin films, 4) Adsorption and desorption, 5) Diffusion and growth on surfaces.

Solutions to the exercises and participation in the class.
