Explanation and practice of mathmatical methods, in particular those which are needed in the lecture courses ,,Basics of Physics" and ,,Theoretical Physics". Important extensions and physical applications of the basic knowledge from the lecture courses ,,Analysis for Physicists", ,,Linear Algebra" and ,,Analytical Geometry".

Recapitulation and extension of vector algebra, analysis and calculus, tensor calculus, curvilinear coordinates, ordinary differential equations, functions of complex variables, Fourier transformations, Dirac delta distribution.
