Objectives The excercise will deepen the understanding of particular properties of matter at the nanoscale, as well as important fabrication and analytic methods.
Subject Where are nanomaterials encountered (metals, semoconductors, composite materials, biological materials) and what makes their particular properties.

How are nanomaterials fabricated (bottom-up growth, top-down structuring) Which methods can determine nanomaterial’s properties (div. microscopy techniques, scanning probe techniques, scattering methods, “indirect” methods sucha as luminescence or Raman scattering)
