Detailed information |
Original study plan |
Bachelor's programme Mechanical Engineering 2023W |
Objectives |
Ability to develop (mathematical) models of manufacturing processes typical to mechanical engineering. Understanding of the applicability of such models in an industrial setting as well as their validity and limitation.
|
Subject |
Accompanying to the corresponding lecture course, mathematical models for various manufacturing processes will be developed based on practical applications. Their limitations and applicability will be discussed in order to deepen the acquired knowledge. In particular, a closer look will be taken on process models of selected chipping technologies and metal forming processes as well as further manufacturing processes.
