Objectives |
This is an exercise course which accompanies the lecture Fluid Dynamics 2. After successfully engaging with the topics of this course, students will be able to apply the theoretical fundamentals of the lecture to calculate linearized sub- and supersonic flows, as well as oblique shock waves and expansion fans.
The level of mathematical modeling and analysis of the mentioned topics is comparable to the level of the textbooks: Zierep, Theoretische Gasdynamik, 1976 und Anderson, Modern Compressible Flow, 1990.
|
Subject |
- fundamentals of gas dynamics
- compressible subsonic flow
- linear and nonlinear calculation of supersonic flow
- wave propagation
