Original study plan |
Bachelor's programme Computer Science 2024W |
Objectives |
Imparting basic network-concepts on the basis of the ISO-7 layer model, TCP/IP and Ethernet. Getting to know the important tasks in distributed systems.
Based on the understanding of the interrelationships and the cooperation of protocols in the protocol stack, students can estimate communication requirements and thus better employ and select protocols.
The lecture also provides an understanding of the general basic concepts of protocols, This is important for the design of communication applications and the adaptation / conception of network protocols.
