Objectives
  • Elucidation of the inner and morphological structure of plastics
  • Understanding for the thermal transitions of polymeric materials
  • Establishment of know how in scientfic presentation
Subject As to the characterization of polymeric materials focus will be given to:

  • Infrared-Spectroscopy
  • Differential Scanning Calorimetry
  • Dynamic Mechanical Analysis
Criteria for evaluation
  • Engagement in the lab unit
  • Quality of oral presentation (team) + discussion
  • 2 written exams
