Master's programme Polymer Engineering and Science (PES) 2024W
Objectives
Within the course group "Chemistry and Chemical Technology" competences in two main fields are provided: A. Knowledge of basic routes of polymerization and chemical modification of polymers both on lab level and production level. B. Characterization of flow properties and structures (on all scales) and their development, as function of the chemical structure, phase structure and the thermomechanical history in processing.
Subject
The elective subject "Chemistry and Chemical Technology" contains the following sub-groups of courses.
- Chemistry and Physical Chemistry of Polymers - Organic Technology and Polymerization Technology - Special Polymers and Biological Materials - Rheology and Structure Development - Structural Characterization Techniques on various Scales
