Ziele (*)The aim of the course group "Advanced Electives in Sustainability and Plastics Management" is to provide a broader and deeper competence in the fields of management, economics and law, and/or to provide greater insight into sustainable polymer technologies and higher-level management of transformative and global change topics on a more advanced level. The students must select courses from the offer of this group of courses amounting to 29/11.5 ECTS according to the admission.
Lehrinhalte (*)The courses in the group "Advanced Electives" consist of the following course sub-groups.

The sub-group "Management, Economics and Law" contains courses related to:

  • general management and micro-economics
  • macro-economics
  • specific topics related to technical law

The sub-group "Polymer Technologies and Science" contains courses related to:

  • polymer chemistry and physical chemistry
  • polymer related chemical process and production technologies
  • advanced polymer processing technologies
  • polymer product and process development

The sub-group "Sustainable Development, Transformative and Global Change” contains courses related to:

  • entrepreneurship
  • methods for organizing transformation
  • societal forces of transformation
  • sustainable business models and entrepreneurship

The sub-group "Soft Skills" contains courses related to:

  • gender and diversity

  • Courses in the the sub-group "Management, Economics and Law” and in the field of Law are mainly held in German.
