Objectives |
The course should provide insight into the basics as well as the applications of the most important methods of instrumental analytical chemistry in addition to the knowledge already provided in "Analytische Chemie für Molekulare Biowissenschaften".

Overview of the current instrumental methods in analytical chemistry, as an extension to the VL Analytical Chemistry for Molecular Biosciences:
- Spectroscopic methods (IR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, ICP)
- Mass spectrometry as well as hyphenation of mass spectrometry with separation methods
- Analytical separation methods (liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, gel electrophoresis)
