Bachelor's programme Molecular Biosciences 2016W |
Objectives |
Understand the term thermodynamics in biophysics and describe kinetic processes and transport phenomena.
Explain the function of model and bio-membranes, especially with regard to ion channels, charges and surface potentials.
|
Subject |
We deal with the basics of thermodynamics for biophysics and understand how kinetic processes and transport phenomena can be described. In addition, the functionality of model and bio-membranes is explained and the biological significance of ion channels, charges and surface potentials is discussed.
