Objectives
The subject gender studies aims to deliver content regarding gender in the natural sciences and engineering, looking at historical, as well as the current state of affairs and developments. Also including the social and cultural influences on the formation of scientific models and technical developments.
Subject
An overview is provided of the field of science/engineering and gender and the current state of the debate with regards to gender in the sciences. Selected examples are used for further information on important research fields.

One gender course with a value of at least 3 ECTS points must be chosen!
