Fundamentals, instrumentation and applications of infrared spectroscopy; Theory of chromatography; Instrumentation for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), stationary phases for HPLC (RP, NP, HILIC, ion exchange, ion pair, ion exclusion, size exclusion), optimization of separations; Instrumentation for gas chromatography, stationary phases; Fundamentals and instrumentation of electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis (CZE, MEKC, MEEKC, CGE; IEF, ITP); Fundamentals of mass spectrometry, ionization sources, mass analyzers (quadrupole, ion trap, TOF, magnetic field, ICR, orbitrap), mass spectra and their interpretation, combination of separation techniques with mass spectrometry;
