Objectives |
Basic course of zoology, mainly for students without intent to specialise on zoology. Targeted on students of the bachelor program Biological chemistry, and for student of experimental and biomedicine disciplines. The course gives overview of animal phyla, classes and orders; their body composition, organ systems, physiological functions, reproduction, role in environment, including food relationships, and by large extent of defence mechanisms including toxins.
