Original study plan |
Bachelor's programme Mechatronics 2023W |
Objectives |
Most control systems do not simply need to fulfill their primary requirements, but they need to do this as good as possible. This course shows how to solve optimization problems in control using available analytical and numerical tools. The course is mainly methodological but the associated labs allow realizing how theory and practice can (and should) match. The course is built up as a systematic introduction consisting of system/problem analysis, general analytical and numerical methods and their use for control design.
