Objectives Provide students with tools in Probability and Differential Equations. Students will learn the basics and will be able to use the right terminology and tools in future lectures of the MedEng Bachelor program.
Subject Introduction to Probability Theory: basic concepts; selected discrete and continuous univariate and multivariate distributions; law of large numbers and limit theorems.

Ordinary differential equations: basic concepts; separable ODEs; linear ODEs with constant coefficients; linear systems of ODEs; equilibria and stability of the solution.

Criteria for evaluation Written exam at the end of the course. Hand-ins during the semester.
Methods Lectures and discussion in classroom; exercises at home.
