| Objectives |
Interdisciplinary Section: The students have methodological skills to solve complex interdisciplinary legal cases.
Labour and Social Law Section: Building on the labour and social law content of the course Economic Law III, students receive knowledge in two course parts about the most important provisions of labor law (3 ECTS) and social law (1.5 ECTS). The students have the knowledge and competence to solve labour law problems related to the establishment of the employment relationship, the relevant rights and obligations arising from the employment relationship, the participation rights of the workforce, and the termination of employment relationships. Furthermore, the students have knowledge of the insurance branches of social insurance law, the most important benefits, and other matters assignable to social law. They have the competence to solve social insurance law problems.

Wirtschaftsrechtliche Fallkonstellationen an den Schnittstellen von Unternehmensrecht, Arbeitsrecht und dem Recht der Europäischen Union.
Arbeits- und Sozialrechtlicher Teil:
Kursteil Arbeitsrecht:
- Begründung von Arbeitsverhältnissen und Gleichbehandlungsrecht
- Entgeltfindung und -fortzahlung, Arbeitszeitrecht, Versetzungsrecht, Fürsorgepflicht, vertragliche Nebenpflichten
- Betriebsverfassungsrechtliche Mitwirkungsrechte
- Beendigungsrecht
Kursteil Sozialrecht:
- Grundzüge des Leistungsrecht der Kranken-, Pensions-, Unfall- und Arbeitslosenversicherung
- Mindestsicherung und sonstige Sozialleistungen, wie Pflegevorsorge oder Kinderbetreuungsgeld, im Überblick

| Criteria for evaluation |
(*)Lehrveranstaltungsprüfung. Die Beurteilung erfolgt nach Maßgabe einer für das Semester im Vorhinein fächerübergreifend abgestimmten und kundgemachten Gesamtplanung auf Grundlage von Klausuren, Hausübungen, automatisierten Computer-Tests, mündlichen Prüfungen und/oder Mitarbeit in der Lehrveranstaltung.
