| Objectives |
The students are familiar with the central institutes of the General Part of Civil Law as well as the structural differences between the Law of Obligations and Property Law, including the relevant foundations in Roman law. They can independently solve cases, particularly those related to sales contracts and property acquisition (including retention of title and acquisition from unauthorized parties), as well as the law of performance disruptions, in an expert opinion style (structured according to claims). The students have a basic understanding of trial proceedings in civil law cases before the first instance courts in Austria.
