Objectives The students have an in-depth knowledge in specific area of service engineering and management, such as service architectures, service technologies, service security, and business models. They know trends in Service Engineering and have expanded and deepened their range of knowledge and problem solving skills.
Subject The topics to be processed are based on skills acquired in the lecture with exercise KV Service Engineering.
Criteria for evaluation Topics are worked on in small groups. Basis for the assessment are a written paper, its presentation, and the participation in discussion and reflection on the seminar topics. The course has an immanent examination character.
Methods Exercises in small groups to specific and more in-depth topics and technologies; Presentation, discussion and documentation of the group results.

Study material The literature varies depending on the focus. In the following, an example for literature focusing on "Service Security" given.

  • McGraw, G.: Software Security: Building Security In. Addison-Wesley, in the current edition.
