Objectives The students acquire in-depth knowledge about new (advanced) research methods and strategies. They know these and their application and they are capable to assess their potential for different sociological research questions in a critical way.
Subject Application of advanced methods and research strategies in new sociological analyses. Concrete contents vary.
Criteria for evaluation Seminar paper, presentation, participation in discussions
Methods Students will learn teaching contents trough self guided literature research. Acquired knowledge will be worked through and reflected in presentations, seminar papers, discussions etc.

Study material New publications about application-oriented methods and strategies as well as basic literature depending on the chosen methods
